We aim to ensure that all of our clients receive the best possible service and are left completely happy and satisfied with their contact with us. In the vast majority of cases, this will be the experience of our clients. However, if you are left feeling dissatisfied with any part of any service you receive, then in the first instance you should direct your complaint to Paul A Martin, who will seek to resolve your complaint using the firm’s own complaints procedure.

Generally, we will make all reasonable efforts to ensure your complaint is resolved at that stage.If the complaint has still not been resolved then as we hold membership of the Notaries Society we will refer your complaint to the Notaries Society to deal with using their Approved Complaints Procedure. If the complaint still cannot be resolved then the complaint may be referred to the Registrar of Faculty Office at the details shown above. 

If the complaint still cannot be resolved then after a period of eight weeks from the date the complaint was first made, as is the case with all other branches of the legal profession in England and Wales the same complaint may also be made to the following as the ultimate and final body in the complaints procedure:

Professional Indemnity Insurance
We hold professional indemnity insurance cover in the following minimum sum/indemnity
limit per claim:


GBP £1,000,000 (one million pounds) for any one claim plus defence costs.Our professional indemnity cover has worldwide jurisdiction and covers our pure Notarial
work (approximately 97% of our work) and also our work in Wills and Probate, Trust and
Power of Attorney, Will writing, and Property and conveyancing.
